Portraits, 2020-2023

Wilson maintains a daily practice of completing a sketchbook size painting a day—more recently in watercolor, and previously with oil paint on Dura-lar. These portraits come from figures in her life, or the news, and are some of her reflections on the current moment including: political deception, corporate rage, gender identity at play, aging. She says she paints in order to understand.
